Nanaiah Chettira Ramappa

(Nanaiah Chettira Ramappa, 2015)
„Art being as integrated in society as any of its other varied aspects, the audience becomes a fundamental part of any art work, willingly or otherwise. The work is the communication between what the artist is saying and the audience and how it perceives, understands and responds to that work. These thoughts are manifested most in a public space, from where I conceive my ideas. My approach is to place the act of making art within the sphere of the public, where it slips through the walls and cracks of public spaces, asking questions, probing, stimulating, induced thought processes, but not necessarily giving any definite answers. The idea is to give a new, uncommon dimension to what is routine, constantly visible and commonplace.“ (Nanaiah Chettira Ramappa, 2015)
Der Aufenthalt von Nanaiah Chettira Ramappa wird vom Goethe Institut (Max Mueller Bhavan) Bangalore unterstützt.
