During the stay at studio Lichtenberg, for the site-specific project “Dérive in Lichtenberg”, in October 2016, Charlotte Åberg has worked with a short-film, “The Daydreamer”. The action takes place inside the Stasi Museum, the former headquarters of the GDR Ministry for State Security. A woman walks inside the museum. She wears clothes that blend in with the typical colour scales from the 60’s, and it becomes hard to tell if she is in the present or not. The film illustrates a kind of passage; where the woman confronts herself and the past.
