Roman Pfeffer was a guest at Lichtenberg Studios in July and carried out sixteen different interventions.
The basis for these interventions included vegetation, systems for maintaining order and found objects
that passers-by had thrown away. The range of found objects was wide and very varied, as letting things
slip out of your hand that you no longer need seems to be very much in fashion in Lichtenberg. According
to his observations, this wasn’t only the work of the countless beer-consumption machines that have
already occupied the seats and benches of the quarter each morning; instead, the loss of property
seemed to be common to all classes across the population. The charm and varied nature of this district
proved to be an interesting basis for the artist’s work.
