Initially, Lichtenberg was an unfamiliar district of Berlin to me. However, by taking photographs and making drawings on the streets, buying materials and presenting my ideas, I was able to get to know the district and its residents both directly and indirectly. I now find Lichtenberg an interesting place where one can sense the atmosphere of East Berlin.
