For three weeks I enjoyed the beginning of summer in Lichtenberg. I walked and cycled around almost every corner. It is striking how much the quality of life in Lichtenberg has increased. Almost everywhere there are benches to take a break. And well maintained greenery. In the almost empty Vietnam Center I have bought a supply of plastic bags. A dying species. With something similar to street art, I disfigured the surroundings in places. I used the rooms in the Lichtenberg Studios for watercolour painting. Big tables, a lot of floor space and good light. A luxury!
