Artists in Residence 2024
The Lichtenberg Studios are showing works by the artists in residence Marcos Vidal Font and Lorena Ruiz Pellicero in the museum lounge. These were created during their stay at the Lichtenberg Studios 2024.
From February 13 to April 24, 2025, the exhibition will show the projects they pursued during their stay in Lichtenberg.
Marcos Vidal Font worked with objects he found on the streets of Lichtenberg.
Lorena Ruiz Pellicero discovered a “connect the dots” drawing on a public shelf on the street outside the studio when she arrived in Lichtenberg. Instinctively, she began to paint over the map of the Lichtenberg district, trying to simplify its form to a minimum of expression. She then sought out the coordinates of these dots and traveled to them.
