The LICHTENBERG-CONNECTED project / for Uwe
My friend Uwe, curator of Lichtenberg Studios, thinks my knitted scarf is hideous. Original quote: “I would never walk around like that. But even if I came up with the idea – my girlfriend would simply refuse to go out with me.” That gave me the idea for LICHTENBERG-CONNECTED: I use scarves to form an intimate connection with selected objects in the Berlin district of Lichtenberg. These are bridges that connect me with the urban environment in the truest sense of the word. The project marks the end of my residency at the studios. My intention is to show Uwe and the world how well the scarf suits me and Lichtenberg. Voila!
