Marit Lindberg/Johan Suneson, Spaziergangslecture
Marit Lindberg and Johan Suneson will be guests at Lichtenberg Studios from December 2021 to January 2022. On Wednesday, 26 January 2022, both will talk about their artistic work in general and their projects in Lichtenberg in particular on a walk in English from 7 pm. The meeting point is the entrance to Museum Lichtenberg, Türrschmidtstraße 24.
Marit Lindberg is preoccupied with the consequences of the pandemic, which she traces on her walks through Lichtenberg. As with previous projects, she wants to connect the inside with the outside. She says: “(…) I am curious about how people live their lives behind the facades. I would like to produce a sound work using an intercom system in which people describe their world inside the house to the viewer outside on the street.”
Johan Suneson is interested in the history of the neighbourhood – the traces of the past, the remaining wasteland and open spaces. Suneson: “During my stay in Lichtenberg, I focus on the presence of nature in the district. I walk around and examine the living nature in relation to the man-made structures.”
