Between 31 August and 13 September, a workshop on art in public space was given by Uwe Jonas in cooperation with Lichtenberg Studios, initiated by the Cultural Transit Foundation. The 19 participating artists had the simple but demanding task of carrying out artistic interventions in the public domain in the Verkh-Isetsky district within a period of two weeks. Ideally, these interventions were to cost either nothing or else very little money and were not to require any permits.
